Estroven is a product designed for menopausal women. As many women know, going through menopause can be a trying experience. Hot flashes, night sweats, restlessness, mood swings, and anxiety – just to name a few – become much more a part of daily life during this time. Prescription medication may help, but many women are seeking natural remedies during this time, especially if they are still nursing their children.

Listed first are the soy isoflavones. Soybeans are known to be a great source of phytoestrogens (essentially, estrogen that is plant-based; these are called isoflavones). These isoflavones can mimic the properties of “real” estrogen in the female body, helping to regulate and maintain hormonal balance during menopause.

The formula also provides a “Calming Herbal Blend” that includes date seed and magnolia bark extract. These two herbs may help reduce some of the stress that women are experiencing and help control some of the irritability that can seemingly come out of nowhere.

Finally, their “Balancing Herbal Blend” consists of green tea and a chemical that can be found in chocolate. They are both known to help with concentration, energy, and alertness. While too much caffeine may cause nervousness, they say that there is a limited amount; it is only there to energize, not compete with the calming effects of the formula.
